Results: 2025 UK Puzzle Championship

Congratulations to Freddie Hand who has won this year's UK Puzzle Championship. Freddie finished all 32 puzzles across both rounds in a total time of just over 2 hours and 8 minutes with an outstanding performance. on the international leaderboard, being just pipped on that by Ken Endo. Rounding out the UK podium behind Freddie were James McGowan and Neil Zussman.

1. Freddie Hand 1075 pts in 2:08:34
2. James McGowan 962 pts
3. Neil Zussman 852 pts

A full list of UK results are attached.

The championship was also open to international participation, with just those on podium spots correctly finishing both sets of puzzles within their 90 minute time limits. Once again, Ken Endo took the top spot, with Freddie Hand just trailing by 1m37s into silver and Walker Anderson in bronze. A few other people did successfully complete one of the two rounds.

1. Ken Endo (JAP) - 1075pts 2:06:57
2. Freddie Hand (GBR) - 1075 pts 2:08:34
3. Walker Anderson (USA) - 1075 pts 2:19:15

Never mind the podium, tight race for 4th :lol: I'm feeling a bit dopey with entry errors.

I seem to recall a close battle for the minor places last year too! For my part I'm pleased to have finally put my answer key demons to rest...

I'm coming for that 4th team spot once I get citizenship (no worries for the next 5 years at the least) :) Pleasantly surprised with my performance.
