Past Competitions

Post by SnideAsides » Wed 23 Feb, 2011 8:45 am

Is anyone able to point me towards past non-US national puzzle championships and WPC puzzles? There aren't any national championships down here in Australia (heck, we're lucky if the extent of logic puzzles in this country extends beyond Sudoku and Kakuro, and our national Sudoku team entered the WSC as a joke) and I'd kind of like to start one, but am trying to find the middle ground between "everybody wins a trophy day" easy and "How is anyone meant to solve that?" difficult.

There is no puzzle championship in France and I am the first to regret it (no official sudoku championship either); but you can find all the puzzles from past years' qualifications for WPC here :

Good to see that there are motivated people in Australia. I hope this will end up with something. --> sudoku variants and other handcrafted logic puzzles.
