German Puzzle Qualifiers 24.1. - 27.1. 2020

Post by JonaS2010 » Thu 23 Jan, 2020 7:51 pm

Hi all,

The qualification round for the German Puzzle Championship starts tomorrow. Instructions are in German, but should be understandable with a bit of puzzle background. International participation is very welcome!
You can download the Instruction Booklet here: https://logic-masters.de/LM/2020/qualif ... ?chlang=en
And ask any questions here: http://forum.logic-masters.de/showthrea ... =31764#pid...

Happy solving! :)
Jonas

Just a reminder not to discuss puzzles from still-open puzzle competitions, even if just to say which you enjoyed - sorry for deleting your post, Freddie. Do post again once the competition closes.

Looks like the contest is over: https://logic-masters.de/LM/2020/q_tabelle.php?id=127

Ken Endo solved all the puzzles because of course he did :)

It's a bit complicated mixing up the German results with international, but as far as I can see from the UK:

12. James (455 points)
19. Tom (385 points)
23. Freddie (320 points)

For a bit of context, the German top 3 looked like:

Martin Merker on 500
Sebastian Matschke on 440
Roland Voigt on 435

Personally I'm quite pleased to go error free here! (the error in the table was me adding the 2nd doppelblock key into the doppelstern space instead)
