Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

If you have submitted your solution then it can take a couple of seconds for your time to appear in the highscore table as I have noticed. Defo no need to solve again, at least I have never had an issue with time not being shown there!

croco-puzzle

For some reason my Slalom result is not displayed on http://www.ukpuzzles.org/croco.php -- weird, huh? Maybe it's too bad

Re: Slalom (aka Gokigen)

After struggling a lot with yesterday's Slalom and only getting it solved in the end thanks to bifurcating (using blue colour and +/- button/strufe) I have a couple of questions regarding the tips above. Most of the deductions are in pairs of horizontally or vertically neighboring clues, possibly wi...

Re: Croco-Liga team competition, starting in September 2012

***THIS IS FOR SOUTHERN UK TEAM MEMBERS*** Hey, I asked on Croco-Puzzle almost week ago already but as no one's replied I better ask here too: Matches will start pretty soon, so I wonder if we shall use this Mini-Chat for team communication or shall we use sth else? ;) It's a rather annoying thing f...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

My final week was a bad one as I only managed to win 1 against PuzzleScot. And to do that I had to beat him in the final puzzle of the week, which was Skyscrapers. Even 2 sudokus didn't give me wins as I just didn't find a way to solve first one without 50-50s but I didn't want to give up trying (th...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

I got an OK result in Dominoes on Friday even beating 4 guys from here. And my overall Dominoes rating is now 699 after solving 7, I think I'm starting to get good at it! I'm also ahead of 1 solver from here in the rating table and getting close to top 500! 8-) Only my Sudoku ranking is higher: 480t...

Re: 2012 U.S. Sudoku Team Qualifying

Yea, tbh I also thought Tiit could have finished higher at first but maybe he is timing his form for the world championship in a month time  He played at this year's Estonia's championship, which I also took part of, he won of course. This French guy surprised me too, didn't know much about him...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

One OK result (my 2nd ever time under 2 minutes), which only gave me 255th place, and another rather poor one in Camp, which still increased my rating, mean that I have moved up into overall top 750 plus my 50-average rating is over 100 (102)! 8-) Will probably take me about 100 puzzles to become 20...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Today's Skyscrapers was absolutely MAD!!! :o Started to solve it late last night but didn't get very before I fell asleep solving it (it was so boring), so went to bed instead. Carried on in the afternoon and used all of different colours, which failed, then bifurcated usingd the +/- like crazy but ...

Well, what can I say? Sorry about pretty much giving it to you on plate Erika, I was working every day from Monday to Friday this week and was tired afterwards. Tried to solve the Pills as well on Wednesday but failed. At least managed to win one of the 4 puzzles I solved, so sth positive to take fr...

Re: UKPA Sudoku Championship 2012 (17th - 20th August)

Can't find this annotation function but I'm currently using Adobe Reader 8 (newer one didn't work properly, so uninstalled a couple of months ago). It's defo possible to save as a txt file but that won't help me much and using Paint would probably be much slower, so I think I'm gonna go for a public...

So, I assume I need to have access to a printer to take part of the competition?

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Huge result for me in yesterday's Sudoku: second time ever in top 100 in Croco-Puzzle Surprise Puzzles and first time in top 50; beat everyone from here except detuned who was 18 seconds faster than me; rating currently given as 2298 good enough for 2nd Dan!!! 8-) I'm obviously over the moon with it...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

What can I say? As I expected (see my last post) I struggled to get both of the puzzles solved this week due to the Olympics, which was always the 1st priority for me. That meant I could only solve 4 from Monday to Friday, which obviously wasn't enough especially against someone mad about puzzles, a...
