Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Yes, I know but it's a small town (smaller than my home town). Word 'tapa' is used more with a meaning kill (comes from verb 'tapma') though. Tbh, I don't know why is the town named Tapa but there are some weird names for places etc., e.g. there is a brook flowing through my hometown called Valuoja,...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Thanks kiwijam , luckily I didn't need it this time but it's good to know! :) Strangely there were 3 Zeltlagers/Campsites in a row on 2 days, so that helped me get my first somewhat decent results -- 2 daily ratings over 200 and twice in top 300. My overall rating is still as low as 4 though, Zeltla...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Is it somehow possible to solve yesterday's surprise puzzle? I started to solve one of the Zeltlagers last night but had to quit as the library was closed... EDIT: Apparently it is actually today's! I assume the server time on croco-puzzle.com is one hour ahead and I started to solve after 23:00 yes...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

In Tuesday's Hashi got my first fehlversuch :D Managed to mess up the bridges somehow, so it took quite some time to get them sorted out and as I only checked them briefly after that, 1 bridge between 2 4s was missing. And I beat 3 again.

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Gave one of the daily ones a try on Friday night (1 of 2, Buildings or however it's called) and gotta say it was tough for me (even though it was only 6x6 in size) and I hadn't solved anything like that before. Most Skyscraper puzzles are 6x6 -- it doesn't tell you much of anything about the diffic...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

driv4r - Chris will make contact about adding you. It's meant to be a British puzzlers ladder, but I think living in Cambridge may be qualification enough. You should have seen my other post regarding translation of all the puzzle applet usage and puzzle rules being in the "Puzzle Rules" area... Co...

Re: Any interest in a UK croco-puzzle ladder?

Could anyone explain how could I take part of this? (Yes, I did read the first page but still don't get it  ) I understand that I need to play a match against the last one in the league (or sth like that) to have a chance of getting into it but where exactly do I play & what, and how to regist...

Re: Hello world!

Nice, thanks! However, all the online contests here seem to be over, so I guess I should find a competition on another website. Anyway, will there be more competitions here in the near future? I guess I should check Puzzle Competitions section again :P Also, I checked the Puzzles section of the site...
